If you want to install a browser (or any other app) not in the Microsoft Store, youll need to switch to Windows 10 Pro. So essentially, I need to find out how to delete the BraveSoftware folder in the ProgramFiles(x86) folder. You can install any browser available in the Microsoft Store and browse to any other search engine website. And in advanced settings when I try to change the owner and "Replace all child objects permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object" a pop-up comes up saying, "Failed to enumerate objects in the container. BraveBrowserNightlySetup.exe and BraveBrowserNightlySetup32.exe will fetch and install the latest available version from our update servers. When I try to delete it, it says, "You'll need to provide administrator permission to delete this folder." Even when I try to change the owner/permissions by going to properties > security - I am unable to change the owner and their permissions to users or admin. Brave-Browser-Nightly-.dmg or Brave-Browser-Nightly-.pkg will install this version. However, in the Program Files(x86) folder, I am unable to delete the BraveSoftware folder. The default Standard Security Setting is the most open and usable but least secure. And I also deleted the Brave folder under %userprofile%\AppData\Local and %userprofile%\AppData\Roaming. To do this from any open webpage, tap the three-dot icon, swipe down the menu, and select Security Settings. First, by going onto the control panel and uninstalling the program through the list of programs. I have Windows 10 and I tried uninstalling Brave.
